Shipping Terms and Conditions
Shipping is organised by the Luxury Handmade Sofas Transport Manager (email@example.com)
Once a sofa is made and ready to be delivered the upholstery team notifies the Transport Manager. The Transport Manager then makes contact with the sofa buyer to arrange a day and time frame to safely deliver the sofa.
The time frame will be an approximate range, such as between 1 and 3 Wednesday.
This window allows sofa buyers to organise and time manage their day.
A specific time will be given on delivery day, when the sofa transporters will telephone the sofa buyer within 30 to 90 minutes to announce their arrival.
On the day of delivery
Sofas are delivered to a designated ground floor room.
Sofas can be transported upstairs for 25 pounds. The 25 pounds should be paid directly to the sofa couriers.
Once the sofa has been placed in the designated room, all packaging will be removed from the sofa (delivery drivers will remove all packaging from the delivery site)
Where applicable, the delivery drivers will help to assemble the sofa.
At this point all sofa buyers are asked to carefully check the sofa and sign the inspection form.
Removing old sofas
Unless prior arrangements have been made with a Luxury Handmade Sofas team member, it is the responsibility of the sofa buyer to make arrangements to have their old sofa removed.
All sofa deliveries are made from the Luxury Handmade Sofas delivery depot based in Derbyshire (S43 4SG).
Sofa delivery across the mainland UK is 99 Pounds (to be paid to the drivers on the day of delivery)
Delivery to Scotland is 250 pounds. A shipping quote can be provided for all other areas, including European deliveries. firstname.lastname@example.org
